Mission/Vision
- To transform lives
- To bring healing
- To give hope
- To change hearts
Father's Love Ministries is committed to sending the gospel of Christ as commissioned in
Matthew 28: 18-20 to
"make disciples and change the world." It is our hope that by sharing the
Good News people will come to know Christ in an intimate and personal way that is based on a personal relationship. With the prayers and support of partners and friends we are determined to share the message of faith that comes from knowing our one true Father. We are committed to helping those who are suffering, have been hurt, are wounded, and have been lost. Jesus said, "...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (
John 10:10) This is the message of hope that comes through knowing Him on a daily basis. We hope that you will consider partnering with us to reach a lost and dying world. Check out our

Bibles For Prisoners...
John Collier presents check to Executive Director John Fehler of Forgotten Man Ministries
On November 24, 2009 John presented a check for $1,000 to John Fehler of Forgotton Man Ministries to help support the funding of Bibles for men and women behind bars. This particular outreach is for Nelson Reference Bibles that inmates receive after completing a series of Bible studies. Inmates demonstrate a willingness to invest in their spiritual development and show a true hunger for God by completing these studies. It requires effort and diligence on their part. We're pleased to have the opportunity to partner with Forgotten Man and sow seeds that will impact lives.
In September we announced to several supporters a new initiative to get Bibles into the hands of men and women behind bars. This mission outreach of our ministry is something that John really felt the Lord calling Father's Love Ministries to be a part of. Having been there John knows that jails and prisons are filled with lost men and women. John has often said that "Jails and prisons are not in the rehabilition business, but Jesus Christ is." Earlier this year the ministry sent Bibles to inmates in a Michigan prison, and the response was overwhelming. Most people don't realize that the state Department of Corrections doesn't budget for Bibles. Several ministries send Bibles all over the world to foreign countries, but how often do we hear about sending Bibles into prisons? We can sow seeds of hope by doing so.
One of the things our society often forgets is that there is a generation of children with parents behind bars. Chuck Colson of
Prison Fellowship Ministry recently reported, "
There are about 1.7 million children with a parent in prison in the United States. These youngsters didn’t do anything wrong, yet they pay a heavy price for their parent’s crime. The most obvious penalty is the absence of their parent: missed school plays and soccer games, and most important, no hugs. In addition, these children are often teased and feel shame, even if no one mentions that their parent is in prison. They are frequently reduced to living in poverty and many times get shuffled from relative to relative or even placed in foster homes." We have an opportunity to help break this generational curse by sowing into the lives of those behind bars and bring change into their lives. Only through the love of Christ can we sow seeds of hope for a future, for them and their children.
We're here to make a difference in the world, to share the love of Christ and give hope to the hopeless. As part of this initiative we're also helping to get hands into county jails throughout the state. Help us get the Word of God to men and women before they go into the prison system. Your financial gift is tax-deductible. If you would like to help support us in this endeavor send your check or money order to:
